The Greatest Journey Ever
In the picture book "The Greatest Journey Ever" by Loes Riphagen, the tiniest creatures take you on an unforgettable adventure. On an ordinary day, the rock where all the insects live together is suddenly lifted. Now they've lost their home! Worm tells him he has a cousin with a beautiful, large rock where they can live, but to do so, they'll have to make the greatest journey ever. So Moth, Earwig, Worm, Woodlouse, Weevil, and the rest set off on an adventure together (although Snail suddenly slides off in the other direction).
Their long, exciting journey takes them over a high mountain, through a wild, raging river, and straight through the dangerous Black Blades of Grass Forest. Bravely, they face enormous obstacles and a striped enemy. Just when the journey feels at its most difficult, Earwig suddenly reappears. Because what seems like a trivial journey for one person is a grand adventure for another.
